Hi, I’m Alessia Maria! I am currently a neuroscience and economics student at a university in Minnesota, fueled by my love for self-improvement, plants, and building my goals.

At the age of 15, I developed an autoimmune illness that began attacking my brain. For a year, I suffered from severe depression and anxiety, and behavioral regressions, quickly becoming non-functional. Throughout that year I learned many coping methods and completely shifted my mindset in life. Since then, I have become grateful for the experience, though painful, as it has taught me to love life in a completely new way.
