HOW IT ALL BEGAN
WHAT IS EUNOIA?
Eunoia, ( pronounced yoo-noy-uh) is Greek for, “beautiful thinking.” That is precisely what we stand for here, allowing ourselves to think and grow beyond the barriers of the world around us. At Eunoia, we are a community of like-minded people working to build the life we love based on authenticity. Eunoia aims to help you do this by providing you with resources such as our podcast, blog, newsletter, and more!

Meet Alessia Maria
Hi, I’m Alessia Maria! I am currently a neuroscience and economics student at a university in Minnesota, fueled by my love for self-improvement, plants, and building my goals.

At the age of 15, I developed an autoimmune illness that began attacking my brain. For a year, I suffered from severe depression and anxiety, and behavioral regressions, quickly becoming non-functional. Throughout that year I learned many coping methods and completely shifted my mindset in life. Since then, I have become grateful for the experience, though painful, as it has taught me to love life in a completely new way.
Today, you can almost always catch me with a cup of tea (or coffee) in hand, a journal, and an open mindset. If you’d like to learn more about Eunoia, read ahead! I look forward to getting to know you and don’t ever hesitate to reach out!

the Eunoia Journey
I developed a disorder that changed my life
in 2019, I developed PANDAS disorder, a disorder that completely turned my life upside down.
I started my journey of personal development and recover
Started a website
I decided that I wanted to share my story with PANDAS disorder, but had no idea how! I started my website in 2021 (with no name)
I continued to learn more about myself
I started a photography business!
Did you know, Eunoia started as a photography business?
Eunoia was born!
After what felt like forever, I finally found the perfect name for the website!
I started sharing my words more
Got multiple features and interviews on Eunoia
Something I never thought I would be able to do, be interviewed and share my story with PANDAS disorder! This was a huge accomplishment for me!
Launched the podcast
I launched the podcast with no real path in mind. Now here I am and it’s taught me more than I knew!
Eunoia is officially declared an llc
Where we are now, the beginning of a new era of Eunoia! So excited to share this with you all!
